The library offers substantial reference resources, in both print and electronic
formats. Staff at the downstairs reference desk will be happy to help you find the
materials and information you need.
- Ask a librarian! Newport reference staff
will answer your questions by email or telephone as soon as possible.
- Request an item through Interlibrary Loan. Library staff
can order materials that are not found in the local CRSN catalog.
There is a small charge per item.
- Talk to an Oregon librarian online 24/7 using L-net.
If an item in the catalog is not available at our library, you may
place a reserve on it. We will notify you when the item becomes available.
You may make up to five photocopies from
non-circulating reference materials without charge.
Computers are available for Internet research,
e-mail, and word processing. Wireless Internet access is also
